I am excited to see where this couple’s relationship will take them considering she is the younger girl with strict parents, and he is the more experienced boy who is heading out on tour. This novella is an introduction to the Heavy Influence Trilogy. Ann Frohoff is genesis teasing her readers with a small novella so that we are counting down till the release of First Kiss because we have to find out what happens. Skid Out introduces you to the characters while letting you know the relationship they each have to one another.

Combining two of my favorite things ever, music and books, SKID OUT was almost sure to please me. And then add in the elements of this story: an up-and-coming teenage rocker, the sweet girl next door, and the outside forces that will surely try to keep them apart. I had a feeling this story would rock my world. It. So. Did.
